A better way to post a Google Plus review from mobile phone?

By: John Wilson    My Google Profile

My Android HTC DNA mobile phone has special abilities and allows me to receive the desktop version of plus.google.com in its browser. It displays the Write a review button.

But, a better way, in my opinion is to use the Google Maps app on Android phones and the Google Local Plus app on iPhones.

You could give users a QR code to open Maps (Android phones only) and displays the business name on the map. Click the name and you get a page with the Write a review button.

But Google likes it better when the user searches for the business and I am not sure how they will view this procedure. So it may be better practice to tell the user to open Google Maps or Google Plus Local and search for the Business Name, City, State.

Try this QR code to see if it works for you. Should Open Google Maps app on your Android phone and show you The Fox Theatre, Atlanta, GA.

The QR code makes it simple and easy, but

Just open Google Maps on your android and type the business name, city and state into the search box. You may need to click the magnifying glass icon to bring up the search box.

That will open the map and you should see a marker with the name of the business.

Click that name and you should see the business’s Google Plus Local page showing the “Write a review” button.

Click the button to see the Review Form. Complete the from and click the Publish button.
